The Vienna String Quartet is a highly acclaimed professional string ensemble and has become the premier string quartet for the most prestigious occasions in South Africa and abroad.

 Adding Elegance to Weddings, Openings and Launches

We are frequently invited to add style and elegance to openings and launches, cocktail parties, corporate functions, weddings, formal dinners and receptions.

 Our appearances in concert have been received with standing ovations and we were the quartet of choice to play for many special occasions, such was the launch of Nelson Mandela’s book “Long Walk to Freedom”.

 Our impressive repertoire features hours of classical favourites, waltzes to tango, jazz to gypsy and many more.

 

 

The quartet is under the management of two top South African musicians:

 Violeta Miljkovic played all major South African musical events since 1994. She was co-principal viola player in CAPAB and member of NSO . Currently Violeta is viola section leader in JFO and permanent member of VSQ since 2000.

 Carel Henn is one of Gauteng’s most sought-after musicians and has 25 years of experience as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and recording artist and is cellist in the VSQ since 2006.
